Francis-Type Hydro-Generator Units for Brazilian Project Set for Grid Connection in October

Installation work is currently in full swing at a hydropower project in Brazil, for which our company has supplied the complete set of equipment. The project is expected to be successfully connected to the grid and begin power generation this October. It serves as a key initiative in our efforts to expand into the small-scale hydropower market in South America.

The power station is equipped with two Francis-type hydro-generator units—developed independently by our company—each with a rated capacity of 500 kW, bringing the total installed capacity to 1,000 kW. The units feature an optimized hydraulic model design, tailored to local hydrological conditions, allowing for the stable utilization of river energy with excellent power generation efficiency.

Once completed and operational, the power station will provide a steady supply of clean, renewable hydroelectric energy to the local area, helping to alleviate regional power shortages and supporting the development of green energy, while balancing ecological protection with local electricity needs.

Throughout the installation phase, our technical team has been on-site to provide support, overseeing equipment installation and commissioning preparations. They have promptly addressed on-site assembly challenges to ensure the project progresses steadily, guaranteeing a successful initial start-up and ensuring that all operational parameters meet the design specifications.

The completion of this project will validate the reliability and adaptability of our Francis-type units under South American operating conditions.
